The HAMMOND MUSEUM & JAPANESE STROLL GARDEN is pleased to include thirty-three multi-disciplinary artists from seven US states, DC, and six countries in the Hammond Museum’s July Virtual Exhibition. “In Many Respects” an animation by artist KAREN LAFLEUR with music by NANCY TUCKER is included in the exhibition. The July virtual exhibition will remain viewable on the Museum’s until July, 2021.

Keynote Speaker:  JANET LANGSAM

Ms. Langsam is the Chief Executive Officer of Arts Westchester, one of the oldest and largest art organizations in New York State.  Janet Langsam is a visionary in the arts community and an expert in Philanthropy, Community Engagement, Nonprofit Management, Organizational Development, and Non-profit Program Development.

SPECIAL GUESTS • NORA GUTHRIE and ANNA CANONI

As we celebrate Independence Day in 2020, we feature a special rendition of ‘This Land is Your Land’ by Woody Guthrie, performed on harmonica by National Heritage Fellow Phil Wiggins, specially produced for the Hammond Museum.  We are honored to have as special guests Woody’s daughter Nora Guthrie, a Grammy award winner, and his granddaughter, Anna Canoni. Together they carry on Woody’s legacy at Woody Guthrie Publications, producing books, music and films about the famous folk bard.
